Job Description:

The DBA team provide crucial database services that underpin most customer facing products across Sky Betting and Gaming. We are the specialists that other teams in the company come to when they are looking for database services or advice. We assist developers and architects in their use and implementation of database technologies, and we work in collaboration with our colleagues in security, hosting, storage and networks.

Responsibilities:

• Be using common devops tooling, primarily Git, Chef (Ruby) and Jenkins and you will have the opportunity to get hands on with Kubernetes and containerisation.
• Work with Percona MySQL, Informix and Oracle databases.
• You’ll be familiar with Git and some kind of devops/CICD or automation tooling. We’d be happy to consider transferable database skills and ideally you’ll have some scripting/coding experience too.

Requirements:

• Skills in Swift, with additional experience in Objective-C desirable
• Experience with UIKit and SpriteKit
• Experience using the Xcode IDE
• Familiar with the latest iOS SDK
• Familiar with using CocoaPods for dependency management
• Familiar with GitFlow, and how to squash and rebase to maintain a clean commit history
• A keen interest in the latest mobile development trends
